Neptune

This is the only image of Neptune that I have attempted thus far. The planet was imaged with a 500mm f/15.6 telescope. With a focal length of 7800mm, the telescope does not require additional magnification (i.e. no Barlow was used). I will return to the distant planet however as I would like to capture an image with lower noise and more detail. Stay tuned.
Neptune’s angular size is ~ 2.2 arc seconds
Earth’s moon is ~ 1850.0 arc seconds in size
